Ben Kitili Moves From KTN
Ben Kitili the soft-spoken news anchor and Editor called it quits from KTN where he has been for eight years. Kitili announced his exit at the station on Sunday 15 during his program, Inside Politics.
“More than five years after we, here on KTN News, sort to change your Sunday morning television program introducing a political and governance show, it is now my time to take the final bow,” Kitili said.
Kitili started working at the Mombasa road-based TV station affiliated with the Moi family in 2013. He graduated from Daystar University in 2008. Inside politics has been his main program in KTN since 2016.
“It has been a great five years, it has become tradition, almost a religion for me to join you with my panelists every Sunday morning to set the political agenda and make sense of the country’s political space” Kitili concluded.
It is rumored that he will be joining NTV where he formerly worked from 2011 to 2013, after leaving K24 the first
media station he joined after graduating from Daystar University with a Bachelors degree in Electronic Media.
At K24, Kitili served as a sports journalist before transitioning to current affairs. His colleagues at KTN wished him well in his next ventures.
“My friend, host, and an all-around good guy, I have no doubt in my mind that the next steps in your life will be greater than now. May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow. May you rise to greatness and to
higher heights, I wish you all the best” said Mark Bichachi.
