Kiambu governor reshuffles his cabinet


Kiambu Governor Dr. James Nyoro on Wednesday reshuffled his cabinet  in a bid to strengthen the County’s management.

Juliet Kimemia (Roads and Transport)and Ng’ang’a Kang’ethe (Education) both lost their spots.

Nyoro appointed Mburu Kang’ethe to take charge of the Finance docket while Dr. Joseph Murega also made a return after Waititu previously sacked him.

Mary Kamau and James Maina were assigned the Education and Lands dockets respectively.

David Kimani will be in charge of the Water docket while Isabel Waiyaki and Margaret Waithera were allocated the Youth and Public Service respectively.

Joseph Kamau will be take charge of Agriculture, while former Gatundu North lawmaker Kigo Njenga  was moved from Finance to the Trade docket.

Samuel Mugo will be in charge of the Roads and Transport ministry whereas Dr. Martin Njogu retained his job as County Secretary.
