Governor Anne Waiguru’s homes and offices in Nairobi and Kirinyaga were raided by officers from the anti-graft agency.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating the Governor over alleged graft claims.

On June 10, EACC Central Regional Manager Charles Rasungu said one of the cases involves a number of tenders allegedly influenced by the governor.

The EACC is also investigating 38 officers from Kirinyaga County Government who are expected to record statements.
