Officials from the Ministry of Health have kicked off a fumigation exercise of Nairobi Streets to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
On Wednesday, City Hall had received 700 litres of chemicals to help in the fumigation exercise.
The exercise began at 9am on Thursday with officials dressed in protective gear and spray pumps spraying the streets and walk ways around the GPO.
The exercise which is being conducted by the stakeholders in public health will sanitize public places; bus stops, buses, market places and city walls around the Central Business District.
This comes a day after Kenya confirmed three more cases of the coronavirus, bring the tally to 7.
