Nanyuki’s St. Christopher School is this year the Mt. Kenya swimming champions in the Private and International Preps Schools Sports Association (PIPSSA) championship.
St. Christopher School who were last year’s defending champions garnered 467 points overall.
St. Christopher will represent Mt. Kenya region during the national competition that will be held at Makini School in Nairobi on 7th and 8th March. The winner of the finals will represent the country in the East African championship that will take place in Kampala, Uganda in July this year.
The Braeburn School Nanyuki came second with 433 points while Mpesa academy finished third with 238 points.
St. Christopher won the boys’ category in the competitions with 272 points but Braeburn School upstaged them in the girls’ category after they emerged winners with 261 points beating St. Christopher who came second with 195 points
