Michael Njogo Gitonga is one happy man after maska became the order of the day.His reasons, however, have very little to do with the global pandemic.
Njogo uses his mask to hide his face when walking out .He can easily be mistaken for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“I cannot walk out of this estate without people asking me for handouts, I have suffered with this name,” he says.
When his photos started taking rounds on social media, Kenyans assumed they were looking at President Uhuru’s throwback photos.
In an interview with Inooro Tv,Njogo state that “It confuses me because I’m confused as to why I look like President Kenyatta, it is very unusual.”
He explained that he has never come close to the President or his family, save for the time his mother worked in Gatundu as security officer, and that was long time ago.
If he ever manages to meet the country’s boss, Njogo’s says his first question would be whether they are brothers.
