Broccoli and fish noodles

What you will need

2 teaspoons butter
1 onion sliced
2 packets noodles cooked as per instructions
200g fish fillet (tilapia) pan seared
1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste
200g broccoli (blanched)
Juice of one lime
50g tamarid purée (ukwaju)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt and pepper to taste

What to do

In a pan over medium heat Add in the butter

Then go in with the onions sauté until golden brown

Add in the garlic ginger paste,

Add the turmeric powder, then go in with the blanched broccoli continue to sauté

Once cooked add in the Tamarind purée

Continue to mix well then add in the cooked noodles,

Bring to a simmer until the liquid is almost evaporated,

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper

Cut the fish into small pieces and put into the mix

Add some extra lime juice combine well and serve as a meal on its own.
