INGREDIENTS
- 1 Full Broiler Chicken
- 1/2 Cup of Natural Yorghurt/Mala
- 5 Medium Sized Tomatoes
- 3 Large Red Onions
- 2 Medium Sized Green Peppers
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- Spices
- 1 Tablespoon of Spanish Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon of Tumeric Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce (Dark)
- 1 Tablespoon of Chicken Masala
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon of Crushed Black Pepper Cones
- 1 Bunch of Parsley
- Salt to Taste
- 1 Cup Vegetable Cooking Oil
METHOD
- Step 1: Add oil into a Sauce pan.. then add the chopped onions. Cut the onions in a circular way or half moon design.
- Step 2: Deep fry the onions until they are Golden Brown and set aside in a bowl or plate. Be careful not to burn the onions. When they turn black they become bitter and ruin the whole meal. Remove the Onions from the oil immediately.
- Step 3: Chop the Tomatoes, Green Pepper and Garlic into pieces.
- Step 4: Add everything in the blender cup.. including the Yorghurt, Spices and Salt. Blend everything to form a thick paste..
- Step 5: In a new Sufuria/Sauce pan add 3-4 Tablespoons of Vegetable Cooking Oil and pour in the blended mixture.
- Step 6: Add in the Chicken. I deep fried my chicken to give it a nice thick crust.. However this is optional. If your chicken is raw add it in but it will take longer to cook.
- Step 7: Mix well & let the chicken cook for 30-40 minutes. If raw let it cook for 45 minutes or so.
- Step 8: Sprinkle the deep fried onions and the Parsley leaves when the mixture starts to thicken.. Or around the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.
- Step 9: Check whether the chicken has cooked, if the salt is okay and the spices are tasty.. If not adjust appropriately.
- Step 10: Serve with some Biryani Rice.. Veggies and Avocado.
