Little known Facts About The Late Senator Victor Pringei

Jubilee Nominated Senator Victor Pringei died on Monday 16 August after a road accident along the Nakuru Kabarak Highway.
Following his death, most Kenyans have admitted that they knew very little about the Senator. Most of his colleagues in the senate have eulogized him as a humble and passionate leader who fought for the rights of minority communities.
Here are a few facts about him,
- Pringei was nominated in Parliament in 2017 by the Jubilee government making him the first legislator for the minority Ogiek Community in Kenya.
- He was a staunch supporter of DP William Ruto. In February 2021 he was expelled from the ruling Jubilee party over disciplinary issues.
- Before his nomination to parliament, he served as a Board Member for the Betting and Control Licensing Board Member in 2015.
- In 2014 he was the Chairperson for the Nakuru County land management Board. From 2010 to 2013 he served as a Deputy Returning Officer for the independence Election Board Commission (IEBC).
Details of his Marital and Family relations are still not clear.
