Politically inclined, the hashtag juxtaposes the characters of political front runners ahead of the 2022 August polls.
The #MwiziNaMkombozi hashtag elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans On Twitter following a call by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Ruiru residents, after presiding over the passing-out-parade of Prisons Cadet Officers at the Prisons Staff Training College (PSTC) last week, to scrutinize leaders who want elective positions and only elect those whose agenda is to unite the country.
“Please don’t allow Mwai Kibaki’s 10 years and my 10 years to be destroyed by electing thugs and thieves,” the President was quoted.
Kenyans On Twitter are divided between ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William as the more suitable presidential candidate following the pronouncement.
