Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has refuted claims making rounds on social media that a Chinese national had tested positive for the Covid-19 (coronavirus) in Kenya.
Through a tweet, the medical facility asked Kenyans to disregard the grapevine terming it false.
Kindly ignore the audio recording circulating on social media on corona virus. @KNH_hospital IDU staff and Mgt are currently at Mbagathi Hospital setting up the Isolation Centre. We assure the public that there is no case of COVID-19 in this facility.@kamurie1 @HezekielGikambi

The Ministry of Health also took to Twitter to dispel the reports saying that the two people who had been tested for the virus on Friday had returned negative results.
