Two suspected drug traffickers were arrested ferrying bhang worth millions of shillings to Nairobi from Namanga on Wednesday morning.
The two :Samuel Kimani Macharia and Peter Mwangi Kuria were nabbed by DCI Transnational Organized Crime Unit detectives.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the duo is set to be arraigned on Thursday on charges of trafficking in narcotic drugs contrary to the law.
Meanwhile, the vehicle they were using to ferry the drugs was also confiscated.
The two suspects Samuel Kimani Macharia and Peter Mwangi Kuria will be arraigned on 3rd September, 2020 to face charges of Trafficking in Narcotic drugs contrary to section 4(a) of the Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances (control) Act No. 4 of 1994. pic.twitter.com/YT31TYSj0p
