Mwalimu Racheal Speaks For The First Time Since Her Arrest

NRG radio presenter Mwalimu Rachel has finally broken silence about her arrest. Taking to Instagram, the media personality revealed that she prefers to remain silent during this trying time.

“Sometimes silence is better than words. Words to the wise.” she wrote in her post

Racheal  appeared in court alongside four others not in court for allegedly robbing Martin Mbugua of valuables worth Sh103,000.

According to reliable sources, Racheal was charged with robbery and violence but she pleaded not guilty leading to her release on sh 10000 bail. On 24th January, Racheal was arrested and detained at Kinoo Police Post after the victim pressed charged.

The victim who has been identified as Mbugua-friend to Miracle Baby of Sailors narrated in an interview that he was tortured for 3 hours and some of his valuables were stolen.

According to the Standard, Mbugua’s guardian claimed that they were in discussion with the radio presenter for an out-of-court settlement but the discussions landed on a dead end. If found guilty of the allegations, Rachel risks being sentenced to death. The next hearing is set for 13 February
