Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya informed that anyone who wants to wear a political party attire, it must be branded KANU which was Moi’s political party.
“This is not a political function, don’t come here with BBI t-shirts or any other,” Natembea said.
Natembeya said they are expecting a minimum of 30,000 people to attend the burial although only 500 people will be allowed at the burial site.
The Regional Commissioner asked members of public planning to attend the funeral to be seated at the venue by 7 am, as the ceremony is expected to begin by 9am.
