BBI, public meetings, games and events banned as Kenyan tests positive for coronavirus

The Ministry of Health has announced a suspension on all public gatherings, meetings, games, events and church crusades.

Speaking during a press conference, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said the decision was made after Kenya confirmed its first positive coronavirus case.

Churches are  allowed to continue with services provided that congregants use sanitizer and adhere to all precautionary measures.

Schools will however remain open but inter-school games have been cancelled.

Kenyans have been advised to refrain from shaking hands and regularly wash hands or sanitize with alcohol-based products.
