The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has now disowned a structure bearing its initials erected on Ngong Road.

The state corporation said it had not issued any approvals to erect the structure and termed it as illegal.

The authority now says the structure will be demolished and “the culprits will face legal action,” adding that “it is illegal to place any structure on our roads without requisite approval.”

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT)  have questioned how it was possible that such large structures were erected without their approval and/or knowledge yet it has their initials.
