Nightmare traffic at the Londiani Junction as Kenyans loot overturned cement truck


Two people escaped death by a whisker after a trailer they were traveling in lost control and overturned near the Londiani junction on the Kericho-Nakuru highway.

The  truck which was ferrying bags of cement from Nakuru General Directions crashed near Londiani junction, with preliminary investigations pointing to brake failure.

Members of the public  seized the opportunity to loot the cement consignment.

The accident caused a heavy traffic snarl-up stretching over 4kms on the  both stretches of the highway.

Police officers from Londiani are currently at the scene.
