A section of Thika Road will be closed from July 31 to August 2 will be between 9.30pm and 4.30am as announced by the Kenya National Highways Authority has .
The closure will affect the section at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.
KeNHA however said motorists will be diverted to the service lanes.
The closure is to allow the authority to erect a footbridge at the section.
Its construction has been ongoing for several months.
Motorists have been urged to be cautious around the work areas while complying with the traffic management plans and directions given by traffic marshals.
