Man sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of killing his pregnant wife and daughter


Joash Marube who killed his pregnant wife and his 4 year-old daughter has been sentenced to 30 years in jail.

He is said to have committed this crime four years ago in Keroka.

His nephew Brian Rioba, testified  aganist him and told the court that he saw his uncle murder Asenath Kerubo and their daughter Naomi Nyatichi Joash.


“Marube slapped his wife before hitting her with an object while the other man hit her with a wooden plank,” Rioba said.

Mr. Joseph Chepkonga, who was the Investigating Officer in this case, presented the wooden plank and the piece of metal as evidence.

He also presented before the court a rope, a knife, a pair of shoes, a padlock and a jacket owned by the convict.
