The Kenya National Movement of Sex Workers (KESWA) has denied being involved in photos taking rounds on social media, claiming that members were willing to trade with Deputy President William Ruto free of charge.
A photo of a section of sex workers went viral on Monday carring a banner with a caption that read, “Asante Ruto for supporting our hustle. Wewe tunakupea free.”
KESWA wishes to clarify that the pics are fake and did not originate from us or any of our member organisations. The photos were from previous marches and demos to call to attention the plight and killings of sex workers in various parts of the country. @AfricaSexWork @HoymasK pic.twitter.com/twd2CdnIxs
